Wax - Sphinx OR My return after being lazy for nearly a year. (OSR / OD&D)

So... I am trying to get back to doing, well, anything. I forgot how much fun it was just to make something for myself, rather than constantly working toward "making it big". While I figure out how I am going to get back to my insane Infinite City, I am going to rework old defunct monster pics into new monsters.

Wax-Sphinx
A feline form, six legged, sinuous, graceful, and smooth bodied. Wicks protrude from its back, tail, and behind a humanoid face: all of them burning. The small body entirely formed of wax.

General: Created as guards for important sites by priests and wizards. They do require “feeding” in the form of 1 small candle a day, the size of a tea-candle. A larger candle can be cut into pieces as long as it contains a part of a wick. To heal, a Wax-Sphinx must consume 1 standard sized candle for every 2 points healed.

Creation:
Level Requirement: Priest 9 / Wizard 9
Construction Time: 14 Days
Cost: 1000 gp

Special Attack: The Wax-Sphinx can spit a glob of burning wax up to 20 feet away, doing 1D3+4 fire damage. Each time a target is hit they must make a Save vs. Breath or take 2 more points of damage the following round from the remainder of the wax burning away.

Special Defenses:
Slink – Characters take -1 penalties to surprise rolls due to the creatures being small and sneaky.
Immunities – Wax-Sphinx are immune to cold and fire damage.
